Kayla's Hope Scholarship Fund

Tri-City High School Scholarships

Providing annual scholarships to local graduating seniors with the intent to study Music, Literature, or Psychology. Scholarships will be awarded to students at St. Charles East, St. Charles North, Geneva, and Batavia for the 2025 Graduating Class.

Our Focus

MUSIC

Music is the heart of expression and emotion. It allows exploration of mental health via the senses. Music can help support you when words aren’t enough and give you the capacity to feel again. Kayla deeply loved playing the violin and shined bright while she performed.

LITERATURE

Literature is a great place to find peace, imagination and knowledge. Reading and writing can help quiet your mind, provide an outlet to dream and be a source of learning. Kayla was an avid reader–often reading a few books a week. She loved to write and had dreams of becoming an editor.

PSYCHOLOGY

Psychology is the study of the human mind and its functions affecting behavior. Kayla was diagnosed with severe depression and struggled to accept help. The more we understand the mind, the better we can understand treatment of mental illness.
